Rope Access Technician

We’ll put you through the certification process and give you
the opportunity to work with some of the best rope techs in the
city.

 

Already a RAT with the following Skills and Traits:

  • Current SPRAT/IRATA Level 1 certification
  • First Aid Certification OFA 1-3
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Equipment and machinery experience (Hand tools and Pressure Washers)
  • Attention to details
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Manual dexterity
  • Physically demanding
  • Work under pressure
  • Accurate
  • Client focus
  • Excellent Oral Communication
  • Organized and Team Player
  • Have completed secondary school
  • Have the ability to communicate (read/write) in English, per
    the language of work (English)
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

 

Job Duties:

  • Rope access to hard-to-reach areas without scaffolding or a work platform
  • Descend, ascend, and traverse ropes for access and work while suspended by a harness
  • Perform duties such as inspection/reports, leak investigations, washing windows, pressure washing, dryer vent cleaning, exterior sealant renewals, and other kinds of work at height or high angle.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
